Paysage d'Hiver is an ambient black metal band from Berne, Switzerland, formed in 1997. Sole member is Tobias Möckl a.k.a. "Wintherr", also of Darkspace. Paysage d'Hiver is french and translates to "Landscape of Winter", winter being the lyrical theme for most of Paysage d'Hiver's songs. Wintherr has cited the Burzum albums Hvis lyset tar oss and Filosofem, among others, as an inspiration for his music.[1] All of Paysage d'Hivers own material are released through Kunstall Produktionen, a label Wintherr runs together with Nimosh of the band Nordlicht. Paysage d'Hiver will never play live.
